Default Wreck on i270 going to work

So I got in a wreck the other day heading to work. I have had my s2000 for two and a half years now and have never gotten a speeding ticket or in any type of wreck. Unfortunately a jackass in a pick up truck did not tie any of his stuff down in his truck bed. 3 flying metal objects caused me and two other drivers to swurve to avoid them. My car was hit on the drivers side!!! Yea it sucks, but lucking the truck driver stopped and got cited for the accident. So his companies insurance is paying for everything.(Good news!)

Anyways I am mad that my car is in the shop now, luckily i have a family friend that does great body work at his shop in Westerville. I just have a couple of questions for your guys that i hope you can answer

1) I am getting a new top because the guy that hit me put a hole in the side of my top( I have a 2000 model and my top was practically shot already, it already was starting to get the tears on both sides for where it rubs) I want to get a new top with glass. If i get a new top I am pretty sure there is a recall for the seat belt retractors that hit or something??? Is this true that Honda can fix this problem from putting new holes in my new top???

2) Does anyone know the best brand of top to get for the S2000? I want a glass one because the plastic ones are horrible( I have had it for two years now) I heard Robbins makes good tops?

3) Also does anyone know of any good places to get a top put on in the Columbus area???

Thanks guys and I am hoping to get my car back soon......Rocking a Ford Focus rental right now does not match up to Stewie

Glad your ok man, I dont know all the answers, but I do know when i was up at Honda Marysville they were doing a warranty top for a customer up there for a new s2000 that had a hole in it, so I would call Jeff Pister and let him in on the situtation, I'm sure they will take care of it and do a great job!

Once again, glad you're ok! James

Get an OEM 02+ top. There are only a few little modifications required to make it work. I would NOT get a canvas top. Thye are a pita to maintain.

I went to tritex when I was planning to get my top done after cracking my rear window... very nice people and they had several high end cars there (if that means anything). However, I can't vouch for their work since I ended up installing the top myself to save about $800 bucks. I went with a glass top from Robbins.. it's a very nice OEM replacement and fits very well.
