Well, I was at Purdue game three years ago. Cold November night. It was nice to finally see the OSU game in person but it did sucked. You could barely move and it was freakin Cold.
I agree with Scott on this. Nice warm bar or your own livingroom full of close friends is better than actually being at the stadium.

Spoken like 2 true soccer fegs...fans.
The experience you describe is the fun of live football. That is the atmosphere I enjoy. Not as much as being crushed against the railing of a European Football match, but close. I will have a hard time selling these.

Lets have a meet at Bw3's and watch the game... I still do believe that the game is on ESPNU which is a direct tv channel- so us insite people cant watch it untill later that night-
But my friend bought tickets yesterday for 4 people, for 2grand- So i would wait another week or two and unload those tickets for a hefty penny. Id even throw them on ebay- you've got nothing to loose...

And soccer rules!! Most soccer fans are tougher than any OSU crowd. Try a game at Anfield in Liverpool. Any of their games make OSU-Michigan look like pre-schooler's paper machet party and any Marshall game look like a checkers match.

I went to the OSU-Michigan about 8 years ago. It was the last game before the most recent renovation. OSU beat Michigan that game.
The atmosphere for a bigtime college game, especially between rivals is unmatched. I've been to over 100 NY Giants football games at Giants Stadium and a few elsewhere, but other than a conference championship game or very heated rivalry game against the Eagles or Cowboys, none of them matched the atmosphere at the OSU-Michigan game.
Considering that this will very likely be a #1 vs #2 game, prices will be astronomical. Ebay has a number of tickets already up. It looks like pairs are already between $1000 and $1500, and singles are at $500.
You've got a nice windfall on your hands.

Uh, yea! The 50-60 year fat cats who fill Ohio Stadium will provide you with lots of atmosphere. The fun is at the tailgates and parties that all the real fans are at, not the fashion show in the stadium.
