Whut, Honda wouldn't pay for a tow that is clearly related to a warranty issue?

While it would be good PR to do so, does the warranty state that to be the case? I'm just asking because I don't know.

With Acura, there's Acura roadside service during the warranty, so a tow to the nearest dealer IS covered. Don't know if it's true on the Honda side....I have a AAA membership for the wife and me just in case (and more useful now that our Pilot is 30 days out of warranty....).

I received a call today from the dealers service manager. The dealership is going to cut me a check for the towing. They have not received any help from Honda yet but felt it was the right thing to do to pay me.

I thanked him and will accept it gladly but I still feel that it should be Honda cutting the check and not the dealer.

Awesome call by the dealer, though it took you bitching and griping to get it.

Good job on keeping their feet to the fire.
