At the very end of the 4th quarter Gamble caught a pass but it was ruled incomplete and on the same play Miami didn't get called for more holding. So if the refs could have at least gotten one of those two calls right OSU would have had 1st down, would have been able to let the clock run out and win the game right then and there.
As far as your phantom flag question, the infraction occured at the line of scrimmage not in the end zone like most people think.

I still think they should have made you guys give up the trophy because you had a cheating criminal on your team. I know when I miss an exam in school my teacher would let me take an oral exam.
How about lying to the cops?I buy all my stereo equipment from Maurice.
He should not have even been on the field.
