I wonder if this has anything to do with SCCA Run-offs leaving?

SCCA puts the Runoffs out for bid every 3 years, so it will be gone for at least that long. Once that happened, TrueSports (which runs MidO) pitched the idea to NASA about a National and rest is history.....

i'd like to try to attend a few of these events..... would love to run beaverun again, and of course, would love to go to midohio. are these open events, do they instructors? etc? it was really helpful at beaverun last year to have andy, chase, gary show me the right line, braking, entry point, etc... and on a course much more technical like mid-ohio, i was wondering how much instruction there would be.

Yes there are instructors for the first 2 groups; they ride with you most of the weekend (or all weekend if you need it). I'm one of them for this region of NASA (also do AudiClub & TracQuest).

Barring snow in April (like 2005), you'll have a blast.
