Buckeye, I keep seeing you mention single digit weather. Columbus has an average high of 35 and average lows of 22 even in the coldest month. Very rarely and for only a brief time do we see that kind of weather.

I have PMed you back on this.

While I am happy with my RE750(performance summer tires) I have a set of SO2 waiting to be mounted when spring breaks for another season.

You will be fine with SO2s all year around as long as there isn't any snow on the ground and you drive it carefully when it is freezing outside.

Thanks for all the feedback guys. I've decided to sell the Blizzaks and wheels and just drive the Jeep when the weather dictates.

Hehe, did I tell you the time a I raced an AWD Audi with all season radials across a deep, snow, ice and slush covered intersection? I had the Blizzaks. He didn't get to the manhole cover by the time I crossed the crosswalk on the other side. If he plans to drive it in the snow and ice, an Evo would still need snow tires.

i'd take that race with my heavy, torquey, awd audi.

But anyways, i think the point is if you get "caught" in a snow storm coming home, you are in worse shape with the S02s, as david said, just take it easy if it is cold outside. I can remember sliding the rear end out to the point of no control on a dry very cold day shifting hard from 1st to 2nd.

Also, isnt it true the 2000 and 01 are more oversteer happy, i can attest that i have spun mine multiple times at the track and actually twice on the street.
