Thanks to MSTUPP in the Carolinas forum
Just put a down payment on a 08 S2000. Got to look at my work schedule on Monday to see when I can fly down to NC to pick her up. She's got less than 3k on her and she is in silver. Can't wait!

Well, I know Mickey Bissett from Hurbert Verster Honda in Wilson NC was up to no good when he never replies to any of my emails. I have been in contact with him since this past Monday regarding a 2008 S2000. After MSTUPP checked out the car for me Friday, I made an offer to Mickey and at 4:22PM Friday he called me back to tell me that we have a deal. At this time I give him my CC so secure the S. Well, now I know why his email never works. I email him numerous time regarding the S but he always said he never did get my email yet his co-worker get my email without any issue. He does not like to have any paper trace. Anyhow, I got concern this AM so I call him before I book my flight. He said "I was going to call you that we can only hold the S for two days". WTF? Throughout our conversation, I always have been upfront w/him regarding my time line due to year end (I am a Controller). I have told him in my first conversation with him that I will not be able to get there until the end of this month. And I will be paying for the vehicle with a check. All that come out of his mouth was as long as we have a deposit, the car is yours. I have purchased three vehicle all out of state and I have never any issue. Then again, the majority of the conversation regarding the last three purchased was vie emails. I should have known something was up when he never acknowledge my emails. Sorry I had to vent.
