Test drove the new Civic coupe

I'm not jumping into the "would you rather" when discussing the Si or the S2K, that's personal preference / budget, etc. No the Si is not RWD, no it's not a convertible, no it's not styled as well as an S2K. Having said that

I am currently e-mailing Andy's photo to all the dealerships around town.
That's why we are still waiting for an 06 TSX to find it way locally for a test drive

No, he does not have the ITR anymore
The new Si's that are out and have made it to a dyno, are all putting a little over 200 hp at the wheels. I think TOV had runs in the 204-209 area, with one special run at 219 (hack intake mod, just for kicks). If you look at the dyno chart, they also make considerable more midrange torque then the previous K series engines, and, I believe, the F20C.
I also was not saying that the Si is a better sports car. It is fwd, and the chassis is not tuned as well as the S2. But I also know some people here participate in casual stop light runs, so I figured they would want to know that it is a total blow off.

i dont think it is going to be such a threat...0-60 in 7.3. verdict was slower than rsx, but better handling. tov was a preproduction model on hub dyno. who cares anyway, neon srt-4 is faster and loosing to a neon is much more embarrassing than a civic si imo.

not to get off topic, but is the ap2 really that much quicker than the ap1?...i know this has been debated at length. when i bought my car they had an 04 and an 03 on the lot and of course i got a better price on the 03, but really i got it b/c i didnt like only having vtec from 6-8k instead of 6-9k. looking at the 1/4 mile times in the mags, they seem the same to me ap1 typically ranges from 13.8 (motor trend) - 14.2 (car and driver) and ap2 13.9 (road and track) to 14.1 (car and driver). has anyone put them side by side?
