Default Sunset at Huntington Beach

Looks like we should have a beautiful sunset on Lake Erie this evening. My wife and I are going to check it out at Huntington Beach in Bay Village. Anyone want to join us? We'll be getting out there about 8:45.

Man, too late. My son had a baseball game last night and I didn't see your post till this morning. Jim, another great place to watch the sunset is at veterans park in Avon Lake wher Rt. 83 dead ends into the lake. See you around hopefully, Dave

Dave,
Sounds like you have your priorities straight! It's always nice to meet other enthusiasts, but not at the expense of quality family time. Thanks for the suggestion on Veterans Park.

Wow, I should have guessed it ... Now I just came back from the West Side, presumably right in the area where you were at. It was indeed a beautiful evening. It there always so heavy traffic in that part of C-town?
Came home saw the posting too late.

Last night I took a drive up the old stand by rout, the Chagrin River Road, ran into major fog though.

I have a suggestion, How about a threads called
"tonight's drive" East Side, and West side and Akron of course. That might help us all trying to hook up with fewer hit and misses.

Naw, that's way too logical. It'd never work! Kidding aside, point well taken.

If you guys want, I can put a "sticky" note (stays at the top of the forum) for impromptu drives. How about if I do a separate post so that everyone can weigh in. Look for it and vote.
