Charleston is a rgeat town. I spent a week there 2 yrs ago. Lot's of history, great resteraunts, lots of shopping. Make sure you do one of the carraige rides through town.
77 from Cleveland to Charleston is 11-12 hrs. Once you hit 77, I don't think you see a traffic light again til Charleston. Sometimes the traffic near Charlotte can get dicey, I know it was for me. We went at the end of May, and the weather was quite warm. The water was warm enough to go swimming.

I think I'll head across the river to Newport, KY (Sin City) for a week!!

Heading to Wake the Dragon and then off to the coast probably for the following week. Gotta love just going and stopping whenever you want!!
