Actually, I think the GTI is a more mature looking design (and I don't mean demographically). There is something not complete or missing from the Scirocco, almost as though it's a teenager with pimples trying to figure out its place in life.
As good as it is to see VW revive the Scirocco to get a shot of performance back in the brand, IMHO they should have redone the Corrado and put an AWD + V6 powertrain in it, or perhaps the AWD R20 powertrain in it.
