Some information from the racing and comp forum

Lowering springs on stock shocks usually makes for an underdamped car, the springs have to be stiffer to keep the shocks off the bumpstops, but the shocks can't control them as a result. You'll end up with a car that might handle ok for awhile but will quickly degrade.
110% from what I understand

Springs and shocks or coilovers? I think springs on stock shocks are a temporary adjustment. Like I said, all depends on what you want to do Scotty.

Oh..and by the way

I'm not flaming anyone;there are positives and negatives to any change made a complex system like a car.

Spend your hard earned money wisely;researching and learning the product before you buy it allows you understand all the ramifications of making that change.

do Ohlin or Moton sell setups for the S2k?

I know different setups for different cars but I've heard Tein Flex's are decent for the street but too soft for the track.

EDFC seems more gimicky than anything, if you were truly adjusting damping force, you would be running on the track...and probably not running on anything Tein makes.

KW3 Variants have had had positive reviews on the track from the Evo world as well as DMS.

Eric that is well beyond what I care to spend.

Guys, take it easy!

I appreciate everyone's feedback. Especially Ray's as he let me drive his car. I don't understand why a simple question and objective discussion turns to butt grease. Keep that in the Dark Side.
