I agree with S2KBDub on this.
Key is to have the car looked at by the qualified and unbiased mechanic.
and make sure to run Carfax as well.

Tim, as Blake mentioned, I could shoot down there and check out the car for you if you want. It's literally 5min away from my work.

Second thought, have david1 looked at the car as well. He knows his shet.

It's certainly a good idea to run a Carfax, but don't rely on it as the final word. A friend of mine in AZ bought a used S2000 with a clean Carfax. A few weeks later, he took the car out to an HPDE and was chunking a front tire badly. He took the car to get it aligned, and they could not get it to align to spec due to a bent control arm and a bent frame. Bummer, huh?

What used car dealerships aren't shady though? Just take the car one afternoon and have it looked over by a mechanic. If, infact it turns out to be a bad car, it's nothing out of your pocket. If you need me to go preview them for you, i'm fairly close to Clintonville where that lot is located.

Yes, I would have any used car checked out but I totally disagree about all dealers being shady statement.

There are definately levels of trustworthyness when It comes to used car dealerships. That is a buy here/pay here lot. All they sell to is suckers.

Agreed, a lot of them sell to suckers, but not all. CCC is not one I would recommend.
