I wonder how the legendary Nissan quality will be. Ray, any thoughts? At least cars like the Corvette, Mustang, GTO, and Camaro can keep running for a while (even if there are some major problems with the motors). And yes, thats the class of car I put this AWD brick into.
BTW, solid axles can be fast on a smooth track if done right. There are a lot of sacrifices that an independent suspension has to make for packaging on a modern car.

it's been around since the mid-50's so i'm guessing the "history" of the car isn't going to be a question mark.
i think you are right that the skyline does warrent being put in the same class as these legendary vehicles, but most people will disagree with you because the skyline exposure in the states is pretty limited to the R32 and up.

Its kind of hard to match the Skyline with a Vette, Mustang, or GTO. They have never been in the US in large enough numbers. My guess is they will age like the Z-cars have.

Some of the them were sorta legally imported.
