Scooby Dooby Doo!
Tomorrow is Friday, I'll be starting my day off with a pink dress shirt, some nice jeans and leaving to possibly convince Allyson of a reason for me to get a new(er) car. :takingAs:
A little background about me and how long I own cars; this would make my 5th vehicle in 2 years. I've never really been as happy as I was when I had my xB, but I can't say that I've really made any dumber choices since then..than buying (2) SRT4's. ( ) I'm sitting right in my s2k, and I know what the STi was bought for, and what he's selling it to me for. It's almost a no-brainer.
Just basically wanted additional input since you guys have been around the s2k's alot longer than I have.
Price $24,900
Body Style Sedan
Mileage 15,957
Exterior Color Platinum Silver Metallic
Interior Color Blue
Engine 4 Cylinder Turbo
Transmission 6 Speed Manual
Drive Type All wheel drive
Fuel Type Gasoline
Doors Four Door

This STi was traded in by its original owner towards the purchase of a New Honda Odyssey Touring. He also traded in his Sienna van. This was clearly an extra vehicle that he really didnt drive much. In fact he never even installed a radio. We installed new tires and brakes (oem) to make this one of the nicest STi's around.

The car looks very clean, but what would be the purpose of the STi?
Daily driver?
A change?
I'm trading in my S2000 for a Cayman S because I would like to try something new and always wanted a Porsche.
If a DD or simply a change, get the STi; its a tremendous bang for the buck. However, get it checked out closely. Those 15k miles could be a ton of hard miles. I'd recommend that you get the car inspected by another dealer. You may have to pay an hour or so of labor, but it would be well worth it to know before you buy.

I think if you are going to daily drive the car, I'd probably be hard pressed not to think of an Sti/Evo.
When you come up on Sunday for brunch, ask Karl, (Dr.Fob). He'll be in his '06 Sti.. (i think)... either that or his '00 ap1. Might want to see what he says. he owns both.

I guess I just get bored with cars, which would explain why I went from my 2000 Civic of owning it for 4 years, to a Scion xB, (2) SRT4s, s2k. ::shruggs::
