S2K in the extreme cold
Well, as all of you Northern Ohio people know, it was farkin -6 this morning!!! My ol' Audi was a heluva champ this morning, but it def was chugging along with molasses for oil this morning.
I'm gonna kick out the S2K from my garage to the driveway for this cold spell. Any precautions I should be taking? I wish I had a 2 bay garage at my townhouse, but I dont. The coolant seems to be up to par, although I guess its "lifetime" anyways. I just dont want something to freeze. I think I'm gonna just do the car cover for UV protection. I don't think its gonna rain anytime soon, so its ok with my cheapie car cover for a short period.

I will be fine.
Couple things for the crazies:
1) I would not start or mess with it until we have a little warmer weather once you move it.
2) Keep excess snow off the top so the weight does not damage the top. Once the snow starts to melt it gets heavy
3) If it goes form the frozen weather to above freezing start it and let it heat cycle, if you don't your frozen block will cause a lot of condensation under the hood.
Call me if you plan on leaving it outside for an extended period of time!

I have 5w-30 Mobil 1 in it now...I dont plan on driving it around. I just have it outside for this week or so until the temps come back up to the teens.
