Good to see more S2000s giving it a shot. Thanks for sharing Popeye!

Drifting is not gay!
Drifting is an art that takes some practice to be consistent at.
Requires good hand coordination and weight transfering knowledge to do it well and gracefully. It's way more interactive than Drag racing. Drifting requires a driver to be more in tune with his car, tires, speed, entrance speed, and technique than say something like Drag racing. I only pick on drag racing because it's like the total opposite.
Doing donuts don't count as drifting unless it is controlled and done gracefully.
I hope RealTime Racing placed well in the competition. Any results found of how he did?

A subjectively judged motorsport that is an "art" is definately gay.
Take salm dunking for example.
If you think of the slam dunk contest, it's also subjective...which for some reasons is gay, I'll give you that ...but from this perspective it's more acceptable to see worded together as a contest than saying dunking is gay by itself. Catch my "drift"?
If you refer to drifting competitions as gay from this analogy then it's more acceptable and I can see where you are coming from.
Now on the other hand...
Catching an allie oop and Dunking in between the legs all while doing a 180 spin in the air like Vince Carter did... that takes talent! Someone practicing to be able to perform it on the spot flawlessly and gracefully is impressive.
From this analogy of dunking to drifting, I don't think drifting is gay. I'm sure it's entertaining and that is what drifting serves to deliver...entertainment. Exhibition drifting done for the crowd.
That's the point I'm defending.
