Rt. 26 Drive

Well, this years drive seems to have fizzled out or others are talking amongst themselves and not talking on here. Surprised the group from Cincy hasn't chimed in either. We have only done this drive once, two years ago. Unable to go last year due to previous engagements. We really enjoyed the trip when we did go. I saw how the poll was looking for this year and had to get my vacation request in. So, on July 17th, my wife and myself are going to do this drive again. I live outside Akron, so that is where we are starting and will take 26 into Marietta. Probably stay at the Hampton since I thought their beds were very comfortable and probably dinner at the brewery. If anyone would like to join us, feel free. I am tired of waiting to see what everyone on here is wanting to do. Lots of thoughts, but nothing in motion it seems. This will be a casually aggressive drive for us and just a nice weekend away from the kids. May even stop by Wheeling Downs on the drive back.

I will check on hotel room the next day or so. Was waiting to see if anyone else was going to man up and go on the drive with us because it didn't really matter if we went on a weekend or weekday. If only us, I guess it will be hard for us to get ticketed since we have the same car.
