Default Route 315 Rant

Ohio Route 315 from 23 on the northern leg to about 270 is supposed to be an Ohio seenic byway.Over the past year or so the tractor trailors and dump trucks have "discovered" my lil jewel and are ripping it to shreads. What used to be my favorite way to decompress after a trying day at work looks like a road in Bagdad after "Shock and Awe".
I can deal with the slow traffic ;but the 40000 lbs laviathans of the road are ruining my little piece of asphalt .

Anyone else watching their favorite drive disintergrate into a test track for an H2?

Sorry for the bitchin

Steve

If the gravel trucks, concrete trucks, etc. can't use 315, how will all the new housing developments that are going to cause gridlock get built?

I remember when this used to be a good place to live...

On the east coast, there are highways designated as "parkways" and trucks are not permitted. They should be banned from 315 all together down to I-70. My morning commute downtown would be much easier of they would stay on 270 or 71.

I know EXACTLY what you mean, I live off 315 between Hyatts and 23. There used to be "no through trucks" signs, but I haven't seen them lately. Not only does it suck to get stuck behind them, they are trashing the road itself....

Yeah, I'm a fan of that little section of 315 you're talking about. I'd go to Micro Center on Bethel Rd and since I live north of C-bus, I'd always take that way to get there.

Yeah, big trucks = bad. And that light at 750 is ridiculous.
