Yeah, a PITA also. The front by the radio and knee pads was the hardest. The plastic tabs on the new cover did not want to cooperate. Plus I think I broke the radio door or the fit is tighter because of the extra material under the radio cover. Yanking on the door to remove it is not wise. I heard some thing break. Now when I go to open it, I need to help the door go down the first couple of millimeters. It is also a little loose when closed. 30 minutes my A**!

BTW, the all yellow looks awesome to.

 

Just looked at a couple used ones and guess what? They both had broken radio doors just like mine. Mine was pobably close to wearing out before I removed the door. So it would have broken in the first few drives of the season anyways. I wonder how many of these things are breaking.

My door needs "coaxing" to go down also. The extra material is the culprit. Not too annoying, I just grab the extra "S" I installed on the door to prevent fingerprints and it goes smoothly........

 

Sometimes my door sticks and needs a little pull to keep coming down, but I don't have anything extra in the way. Have had it off to add the rear speaker harness, of course. So maybe I didn't quite get it back on right or maybe this part just wears with a lot of use? I was constantly opening and closing mine, since I'd keep my parking tag in there.
