Default pulled over for running a loud exhaust

has anyone been pulled over and/or ticketed for a loud exhaust? i just installed a T1R 60RT over the weekend, and even though i love it, i do find myself looking out for cops more. and while we're on the subject, has anyone been ticketed for removing the cat?

btw, the 60RT is extremely light compared to stock - it weighs less than the cat alone. the midrange gain is noticeable, especially in terms of responsiveness, and the VTEC switch-over is a bit more pronounced. i've driven 100+ miles on it, and so far i am very satisfied with this piece

I have heard of tickets for loud around here, but you will only get harassed by other S2K owners for not having a cat.

Stinky stinky.

PLEASE don't take the cat off. It does nothing for you on a near-stock car. If you really think you need the extra airflow then man up and buy a high-flow cat instead of throwing all that pollution around in a street car. I run almost 400hp and don't have any problems at all with my stock cat.

It just doesn't make any sense.

Yes. But local cops here are pricks. I was pulled over in the same car with the same exhaust I think seven times in a matter of six months. No tickets, just them being bored.

Of all the cars that I have owned, I have never been pulled over for a loud exhaust. But then again I dont drive like an A-hole.. I keep the throttle under control.

My S2K is Invidia and test pipe equipped. Its loud and no one likes being stuck behind me..

I have 400 hp in my supercharged S and passed echeck with no cat and running an AEM ems. Food for thought.
