The event was outstanding, minus the sunburn. Good to see Popeye there! I have pictures of everything if anyone is interested. Thank to Ubetit again for the tickets!

I saw your car parked in the infield and yelled down to you from the Mid-Ohio deck on Saturday, but I guess you didn't hear me, were in a hurry to get to the pisser, or to get another Pepsi .

I sat in Galati's car on Saturday-- inasmuch as my ass would fit. The whole thing is carbon fiber. Very badass. He was pretty cool after the race too, signing autographs, etc. Randy Pobst was too. We had b-day cake with him Saturday.

I'll also throw a big congrats to Dublin based Intersport racing who followed up their class win at Le Mans with a win at Mid-Ohio. Its always cool when the hometown team kicks a bit of arse--a la Team Rahal!!!!

 

Were you guys in the Audi pavillion in the esses? That has to be the best place to watch the races from there at Mid-Ohio

 

Free food and beereverages were there, so yes I spent a lot of time up there. Thunder Valley is still the best place to watch.

 

I miss driving that track with the BMW CCA...
