Did you guys intend on going out there in the rain with your tops down? My roommate just got back (another prelude owner) and said the rain had already started before you began the lap. I hope everyone's interiors survived.

One requirement was that we all had to have the boot covers on for the parade laps, so there was no option to put the tops up once we started. A drizzle started when at least half of us had already pulled out onto the track, then just got worse as we stood at the starting line. Then someone finally cancelled the driver's participation, and I presume that the only way off of the track at that point was to go all the way around.
All you can do is laugh at that point - laugh and wave to all the cheering fans.
