Parking with the top down.
I was surprised this morning that most of the convertibles parked in my garage had the top left down despite the amount of vehicle breakins and theft warnings here. My top is always up out of paranoia. Am I just paranoid?

can you see the car? it depends on the area, i think.
when i am in chagrin falls (or pepper pike..your neck of the woods), excluding the V1, I'm not worried about anything...
garage though, where i can't see it, i'd have the top up

If I can watch/see the car the whole time, I have no concerns about leaving it down. But if I'm indoor and can't see the car for extended periods, no way. Just the dickwad factor makes me put it up.

If it is at work, I put the top up to avoid dust and leaves landing in the car. Also, the nimrods at work cut the grass and throw the clippings all over the car.

I put the top up to protect my leather and vinyl but my car is rarely ever locked. I'd rather they just open the door and steal shit than slash my top to get in. My last two mustang convertibles I NEVER locked.
