No K-Pro... I have an AP1 and I would need to change/mod sensors with a Kpro ECU (which I think is a reprogrammed RSX ECU.
Sucks... some of the guys are spending some bucks on the haltech piggy back, but again, I can't justify that much in tuning to gain a few extra horses. Not when I've got a suspension that needs replaced (shocks, springs, bushings, ball joints, alignment, etc)
Again, lets assume the VAFC can get me 5-10 hp and give me more mid-range by lowering vtec. It'll do this for 200-300 bucks. I'm not going FI, can't change engine internals. I can really only do intake & exhaust.
While I'm sure I could get more power from an Emanage or Haltech, It just doesn't seem worth the money to gain that little bit of horsepower. The lower vtec engagement is what I really need.

Canton. 1 hour south of Cleveland.
I would be open to a cost effective option because I could very easily sell the VAFC because I got it at a good price, so I don't have my heart set on it at all, but again, for the limited tuning I'm permitted to do, the VAFC covers most of that the cheapest way possible.
I still need a Plug and play harness for it and I don't have a wideband yet.

Rafi he can use the VAFC but you have to keep reseting the ECU since it will adjust for the VAFC and you will lose any of the advantages. We put in a few of them with the comptech's but like you said its not the best option.

Haha just saw this thread was still up. I went to cinci and got tuned my David blundell at TPR. That guy is like yoda if we were Jedi. He was beyond amazing. Figured I'd throw in my two cents again. And it was a 5 hour drive lol.
