Ohio Track Days
Do many members to open track days or driving events?
If so, where do most of the S2k guys go?
I usually end up out at Putnam Park - I like it cause there's plenty of runoff and only 1 cement wall.
I've been to mid-ohio once - great track, just wasn't as comfy on it as Putnam.
Anyways, anyboyd else do these events? If so where are the hookups to get on the list and what about some of the norther tracks I have been too like nelson ledges or gingerman?

Check out...
Chin Motorsports - http://www.chinmotorsports.com/events/calendar_2008.asp
Redline - http://www.redlinetrackevents.com/
NASA - http://racenasa.nasamidwest.com/

If you like Putnam Park, you might want to try BeaveRun (PA) or Waterford Hills (MI).
Chin is the only one that shows a 2008 schedule at this point.

I do a handful a year at Beaver Run, Mid-O, Nelson Ledges, and others. I saw your CR the last couple days in your parking lot on my way into my shop. Hope to meet you soon, and maybe do a track day next year!

NASA does not require a roll bar for the S2k. The last time I was at MO, they also allowed you to run with the top down, without arm restraints.
I believe Chin Motorsports and Redline also allow a stock S2k to run, but can not confirm.
