I know I ran my 2002 through 8 Ohio winters as my DD on snow tires with a hard top. There is still no sign of corrosion on the body or under body/suspension. It's in Arizona now being babied by my mother, so if it didn't rust here, it's not going to now. I've seen plenty of others DD through winter and never seen one with outer body rust yet. Body design, using all galvanized high strength steel in many spots, plus some aluminum panels, and good under body drains, apparently all do their job well on that car. It wouldn't do to have a bunch of rusted sports cars driving around as a testament to Honda quality. A little over engineering goes a long way toward boosting a brands/models quality reputation.

Having said all that, my much more modified, and worked over 2008 CR will never see snow or ice and salt on the road if I can help it. That said, I do have a full set of high performance snow tires ready on the OEM rims, just in case plans change. You never can say never,

But honestly, I think our body corrosion Engineers designing in Japan and test Engineers in the USA must have done a bang up job on these cars as I have yet to see one go to an early grave due to corrosion. Anyone else seen anything different, I'd like to see it.

Truth. It's the principle of the thing, though, isn't it?

So, tentatively accepting, you can add me name to the list as well. I'll also be chipping in for more pizza.
I guess we're not bringing beer?

FIXED! My membership had expired and I didn't know it, so my mailbox shrunk to 100 messages. It's back to normal now. Thanks.

Crap. Im going to have to miss the Meet. I totally forgot I have a soccer game Saturday night. I would need to leave the C-bus area by 5:30 to make my game.
That means I would miss all of the fun.

Have a beer or 3 for me..

John: do you have enough chairs? Should we bring lawn chairs or something just in case?

Ok... so right now we are looking at 19 or so people...

Can we get a confirmation from everyone that's on the list that they are attending (that will help Steve with the steak count too )

Just post.. confirmed and what you are bringing (or chipping in $$ for pizza) if it's not listed on the first page.
