It's about time! I'll have to see if I can find some plugs on my daily driver and remove the license plate bracket as its been scratching up the paint pretty badly.

Honestly, I could care less about the front plate since two of my cars don't have them (classic cars), but the $100 tax on my Accord hybrid sucks a@@. Ohio has to be one of the worst states in trying to get their residents to conserve fuels - there are no state incentives to go solar, wind, ng, etc, at your home, and now they tax hybrids and electric cars. At least my county doesn't already have any additional on car registrations.

I guess I can take my extra plate out of the trunk finally. I haven't had front license plate holes since I put the AP2 front on and had them shaved off ~10 years ago.

With the virus keeping the state legislature out of the state house they may not get to pass the repeal of the license law.

I was wondering that too.

Of course, I wonder what will happen for renewing tags, echeck and new drivers license. Saw the exemptions and extensions. Crazy stuff.

I thought the law passed both houses and was signed into law in 2019 with an effective date of 1 Jul 2020. No so?
