Default Ohio Billman equivalent?

Obviously Billman is awesome. I'd love to have him look over the car and do his magic. I definitely need to do a valve adjustment, and might just do it myself. But is there someone trusted in Ohio? Anything closer than the 10 hour drive to Billman worth looking into?

I'm no Billman and will never compare myself to him but I do all of my work myself and have done a valve adjustment on my S2000. I'm in NW Ohio.

If you're near CIncy then use Source One - Brian and his team are awesome.

I'm pretty sure those are the guys that bought the shell I had. They seemed awesome and I might look into them.

Wife and I might be moving and I might be giving up the garage/hobby stuff, so I'm going to need to find a good place I trust for work/maintenance/builds. More focus on my business at that point, but I'm not completely sold. I don't think I'll be okay to stop wrenching.

I'll definitely talk to Sourceone and then some others I find in the sticky at the top.

Valve adjustment is dirt simple albeit tedious. No more complicated than changing the oil. Plenty of instructions here including videos. Total tool cost probably runs under $30 and a gasket set under $50.

It's not that I think myself incapable. I just really like the idea of Billman going over the car. He's like a mystical creature that will bless the motor....lol

Fully agree.

Got a few vacation days accrued? Figure on a 10 hour drive each way and a 2 or 3 nights in a hotel assuming you can get an appointment.

Too bad Billman isn't just like the rest of Long Island and will come down to S. FL for the winter......my garage is nice and warm!

I'll probably try to get with him and plan something for next summer. Do a little road trip with the wife and go up to Montreal for the GP, as long as the world is closer to "normal."
