Ohio Amsoil Users?
Began looking through the under the hood threads and was reading on other products besides the ones I have traditionally used... I saw that there were some Amsoil users and was wondering if any local people have had experiences with Amsoil products..

I use the 10w30 (ATM) oil and the 75w110 for the diff. Oil gets changed about every 5k (or before and after any track days) and the diff once a year (or same as oil with track days). A local store sells the oil, but I have to order the 75w110 severe gear online.

Well since you are going to get a lot of opinion, here goes.
First, if you change fluids as much as most of us, nearly anything you pick will be fine, if not overkill.
I think you either "buy into" Amsoil, or you think it's mostly hype. I'm in the second category, though it's totally my opinion. I could be 100% wrong.
If you are looking for something different, I'd probably try Redline oils. Again opinion. I don't even use them cause I think its overkill for the miles/time I go between changes.
I use Mobile 1 EP in the engine, LE 1605 diff, and the new Honda MTF in the trans

Apparently, Breanne's sister, Danielle, has run exclusively Amsoil in her POS Pontiac Grand Prix and the car's got well over 300k miles on the original motor -- and believe me that car has been abused -- so, maybe there's something to it.
Kinda funny story how I happened to learn that. It's a Sunday, Danielle's travelling from the east coast of Michigan (Port Huron) to the west coast of Michigan (Grand Rapids), and we're meeting her for lunch halfway (Flint). Anyway, Bre says to me, oh yeah, Danielle's car is running low on oil and she wants to top off, she asked if we could pick her up some oil, I wrote down the brand she needs "Amsoil". I was like WTF? None of the shops I know of that might carry Amsoil are open on Sunday. She's gonna have to suffer with a quart of Mobil1. I was shocked to learn that her beater had always run Amsoil. However, 300k miles on a GM 3800 motor ain't too shabby either, yeah, it burns some Amsoil, but it's still running.

Save your money and just use Mobile 1. I use to be an Amsoil dealer when you could sell it out of your house and there was a huge advantage to it. But, that was a long time ago. Now there is no big reason to use it. Even dino oil is very good today. Hell, my Chrysler has 170k miles on it and only gets the cheapest dino oil on sale and 10k miles between changes. So Amsoil in that car would have been a wast of money. Same goes for Redline. Also, If the trans is shifting fine, leave it till you have about 15k miles on it and just use the Honda trans fluid. It is very close to the GM Syncromesh.
