OEM Rims and Tires
I posted on the "For Sale" section previously and it turned out to be an unpleasant experience. A lot of people replied with unnecessarily harsh remarks, causing the sale to be very difficult.
In any event, up for sale locally is a set of OEM 16" rims and tires. The wheels have five years' worth of curb marks, but have abosolutely no bends and cracks. The tires are almost new Fuzion ZR-i in stock sizes. They were mounted by the dealership before I bought the car, and I put less than 800 miles on them before my Enkei's arrived. There are no patches and bubbles. Over 90% tread left.
Would someone please give me an idea of how much they're worth? I know Tirerack sells the entire set of tires for about $300 + shipping / mounting / balancing. Currently the item is listed on eBay, and the auction ends on Sunday morning. If someone is interested in buying, I'm willing to deliver them anywhere within 3 hours from Cleveland.
Thanks much.

Please don't take this the wrong way.
But as the pictures show, the wheels show bit of curb rashes. Which is fine as long as the wheels are true and round. But wheels in that condition will go for 200-250shipped on Ebay.
As far as tires goes....anyone who knows about the contact patch difference between OEM SO2s and other tires, knows to go with 245/45/16 in the rear in case they get tires other than SO2s.
I'd say you've done well if you can get 250-300 for entire set. It would been worth more if those tire were OEM SO2s.

I have read about the rear S-02s having a wider section than others.
My question is: despite the visual difference of the width, the sidewall thickness is calculated as 50% of 225. If you get different tires in size 245, then 50% of that is going to be too big, yet 45% is too small. Wouldn't it alter the the overall circumfrence / diameter and throw off the speedometer and odometer reading? Is the handling prowess of that extra 20mm (if even) noticeable on the street?
