But on a more positive note. I got the radio door off! I was watching the OSU game in total disgust and got all worked up... so during halftime I took out my pent up rage on the poor radio door. Suffice it to say it had no chance. I'm still surprised as to how tough it was compared to domestic products.
I installed the Alpine CDA-9857 with the Ipod Full Speed direct control. I'm really impressed with the speed of the interface. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a meaningful upgrade. The sound quality is way up and the speakers actually sound like they have to punch and some clarity compared to the pos stock unit. Modifry's Alpine adapter is also very cool and works well.
Thanks for the help guys.
