I can't say i'm very enthusiastic about a front engined NSX. Kinda following Toyota's lead with they're upcoming supercar.
Just make it a sexy, mid-engined, two seater with a V10.

To me that car was never an NSX replacement. Just another really fast car from Honda, with a different take on how to get there. I thought it was pretty cool for what it is. It is not an NSX, however the Ferrari 599 will driver circles around the 430, and which is more pure?

I personally think they should have an NSX replacement with a V6 and an optional *gulp* V8 based of one of their many racing platforms even if it is inherently inefficient. Turbos are expensive, heavy, and difficult to package in a small space. I think a V8 would be much lighter, cheaper, and faster.

Then the should have the ASCC type of car to showcase their technology in a GT platform. V10 (which wold eventually make it to the NSX someday) SH-AWD, etc, etc.

If Honda really wants Acura to be a sports-luxury brand (which I don't see them as right now with the TL and TSX) they need to have a serious makeover and attitude change.

We'll see what the do, but one thing I have learned is that Honda is very good about keeping their ideas, and plans under a big blanket.

Front engine = The strong point of the NSX has always been its handling and weight distribution, which will never be the same due to a heavy, front mounted V10 (if that's what they end up using). Between the FR layout, V10 engine, radical styling changes, and price tag, this car is as close to an NSX as a Viper is. For that kind of money, I can think of 10 other cars I'd rather have. Those things will be sitting on the lot for years at $150,000. Honda is crazy if they think a car like that can compete with Bentley, Ferrari, Porsche, new 600hp Vette, Viper, etc.

That's more like it. Make mine black with a red interior. I guess where the Lamboghini designers got their Gallardo wheel designs from
