I went today (Friday). I'd never been before, and I must say that there is nothing that can prepare you for the first time you hear a pair of nitro-burning Funny Cars leave the line. I thought the burnout was impressive, then realized that they do that on the "idle" fuel pump only.

Funny car qualifying was interesting: the Funny Car track record was broken 3 times today. Between the 3 new records, they lowered it about 0.01 second. Top Fuel qualifying had too many equipment failures, but there were a couple of good runs, including a couple where both cars ran 4.5xx.

Well it doesn't look good for today Especially with all the timing issues they have had this weeekend
