Key word being all-season, Goodyear makes the F1 in an all-season tread pattern now. The Kumho MX is a good summer tire, with reasonable wet traction until they get more than 75% worn. If you have to do ANY driving in the snow, I'd get snow tires, and summer tires.

Thanks for this thread. I'm constantly on the fence about buying new tires for my S, preferably something that can handle the rain better than the S02s, which handle frightfully with the slightest dampness on the road. Yikes!
I'll look at the GY F1s.

I have the BF Goodrich KDW2's, and they are great in the rain. The only complaint I have is that they can be a bit noisy in the dry. I can hear they with the top up, but top down, I don't.

I am on my 3rd S. I would definitely have to say with over 200k miles piloting an S that the best wear mileage/still grippy tire I have ever run on the AP1 is the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S. Tons of mileage, they just last forever. I would still prefer the S02 on this car anyday though.
On my AP2 as mentioned above, I am running the RE070's and have found my new love. I'll never run another tire again.
