yeah, if and when i get one it will be centrifugal
Why? The car doesn't really need help at 6k and above. It needs help from 1.1k-6k and beyond.

Thats Fn junk.... i have talked to Chad from comptech about this type of blower several times and it falls on its face like crazy all the time..Comptech had several thousands of dollars and tons of of hours into the RD of a roots blower and as soon as the put the centrifical one on there it killed the HP and efficency the first time they tested it.

PS i love the sound of it though it sounds kick ass!!!!!!!!!!!
It's very early in the life of the BRP charger but I don't care what Chad said, Comptech took the easy way out on the S2000.

BRP supercharger vid. Talk about some blower wine, it sounds like a 03 cobra. http://brpforum.infopop.cc/groupee/forums/...2/S2kteaser.wmv
Great video, it does sound a lot like an 03 Cobra.

I don't get how the roots style blower is so much worse than the centrifugal blower?

All the factory superchargers out there that I have seen are roots style.

Its not worse, it just provides alot more low end torque that people are looking for, by sacraficing the power up top. IMO when im really racing/pushing the car, I can care less whats on the low end I want the meat and potatos in the top half of the rpm range that I will be using.

If they can deliver 270 rwhp before vtec and over 300rwhp after vtec, there'll be a ton of used snail blowers for sale on this board. I'll also guarantee that if that happens it'll walk a comptech supercharger and you won't want a centrifugal supercharger.

Thanks for the clarification, but is there any dyno chart?
