Hey,

I just purchased my 2002 S2000, back in the beginning of July and just recently joined S2000 International. I live in Circleville, Ohio (which is about 30 miles south of downtown Columbus) I was just wondering when the next time is that you guys are planning on meeting?

What color is your car and do you work up near Columbus? I live out in Groveport myself and I have a 2002 silver.

I have a Suzuka Blue Metallic S2000. Yea I work at Capital Univeristy Law School, and at Nicole Energy Marketing. Where do you work at? Have you done anything to your car yet?(mods, etc..) All that I have done is put on a front underksirt spoiler.

I work at OSU. I usually take 270 over to 71N then catch 315 to campus. The reason I asked was I figured maybe we'd run into each other in the mornings on 270 around 23 or maybe 71.

I've replaced the door speakers and added rear speakers. I used Polk ex365 and ex340s, I think. I got the rears prewired from Lucid. I am pretty happy with them with the stock head unit so far.

Also, I had a Ti Voodoo shift knob, but just couldn't get used to the shape. I like the stock knob on the 2002s as it has more of a cylindrical feel to it and the leather feels like it gives me a surer grip. Which reminds me, if anyone local wants to buy my Voodoo knob, just let me know.

I am considering getting the black chrome badge kit from Honda. Also, I'd love a concealed radar detector like the Passport SRX, but not sure I want to spend that kind of money.

I usually get off work around 6pm. I do not always drive my S2000, it is more of my weekend car, but occasionally I will drive it. I take 71S to 270east then hit 23S to get back to circleville, it is just in reverse to get to work. So maybe we will run into one another sometime. The only S2000 that I have seen leaving work is a yellow one, and that was a couple weeks ago. Do you have any idea whos that might be?

I know of a few yellows, but none that work at Capital or Nicole Energy Marketing.

Mine is a daily driver for now, so maybe you'll see me around. This week I'm staying up in New Albany watching my sister's house and her two cats, though.

Welome to the club. I have a spa yellow 02 and am in New Albany. Not my daily driver either. I have had since December and only have 1300 mile on it. I have cleared the head lights and replaced the side markers with the JDM units from Rick's. I have also upgraded and installed rear speakers. Also have the Comptech CAI intake and cat back exhaust.

Post here if you want to do a meet. StrangeDaze and myself have attempted to keep th momentum of the central Ohio club going and a N.E. Ohio club is building.

I'm going to put a post out in S2000 Talk titled "Marrysville, OH S2000s - where are you guys???" just to see if I can get a response from any of them.

Do you remember any of their screen names, dave? I couldn't find that original thread from back before we had this central ohio forum. Maybe if I go back far enough in my subscribe list?

If a meet is possible I would like to come. I dont have a s2000 but I got a 02 TL Type S. I was gonna buy a 01 s2000 as a daily driver but I figured rear wheel drive and our snow maybe not. If I am invited let me know.
