I have run Blizzaks, Alpins, and am about to put on M3s.
The Blizzaks are AWESOME in the snow/ice, but lack grip in the dry/cold.
The Alpins were a better compromise for those cold, dry days when you still want to have some fun.
I've heard great things about the M3s which is why I am putting those on as soon as my Alpins get too worn to be useful in snow.
