Get Becky the new Fit.

I'm probably going to be selling the Buick if you want to ride in comfort, only 45,000 miles on the odo.

Steve- I remember a while back you were looking at TSX's and Accords for Becky. Don't forget that I got my 06' EX-L brand new for 24 out the door, T&T, everything - and I know Becky can most likely get a discount on top of this because of her relationship with Honda.

I realize a new Accord isn't exactly a beater, however, I'm sure the payment you have on your current Accord would be similar to the one you'd have on an 06 around the price i'd paid for mine.

Also, my brother recently picked up a brand new 05' TSX with 500 miles on the clock, loaded, navi, 6-sp - etc. and paid 26 out the door, T&T included.

Just some thoughts. I'm sure you and Becky have driven plenty of Accords, but if you'd like to drive mine around for a Saturday, you're both more than welcome to.

Good luck!

I'd say give Becky the Civic. There's not much out there that will beat that mileage. Get something used for your commute. Used domestics are insanely cheap right now for the most part. Don't underestimate the value of having something that is comfy and quiet. Which specific car depends on what you like, what you hate, what you're willing to spend, what's available, etc.

Stick with the plan of giving your daughter Becky's car. Then, if I were you, I'd talk to Becky about what she wants and what is important to her. If it is all the same to her, I'd suggest giving her your Civic and look at the new Si for yourself. I know how much that would mean to you and don't see it meaning much to Becky in any case. But, of course, you will want to talk with her to be sure.

Good luck!

I'd give the Accord to your daughter, and let Becky have what she wants. Smart men listen to their wifes. And don't forget about the RSX, its a nice car too.

What's the story with the Buick? I've got a real nice pontiac sunfire, all's it needs is a motor.

I really like what I've seen of the Fit so far. There were a couple at the car show down town. For as small as they are they are really practical I think, plus they get almost 40 mpg on the highway. Edmunds had an article that claimed the Fit's headlights and grill had an S2000 influence but I'm not so sure I can see it.
