A new delema
Well Missy ,my youngest has started a new full time job. This is great news however it poses a new delema here. She has more or less taken over driving Becky's Accord to and from work. She will take over the final few payments left on this car.
Becky has gravitated towards the Civic because it gets great mileage,37-38mpg @ last fill-up. Which leaves me with no beater
Should I buy another POS for the 3 mile trip to work everyday or get Becky a new fuel-effcient car for her 58 mile round trip to work and keep the Civic for me?
BTW they are predicting gasoline prices to hit $3.00 + a gallon again this summer

Not really fuel effcient;....requires premium;......she doesn't really like the style of the MY06.

how long is your commute steve? why don't you give Becky your Civic and you get something else if your commute is shorter. my initial thoughts would be civic si as well.. but having two cars that run on premium

Get Becky something nice and keep her happy. You can't put a price on a happy wife!
My wife rocks an Element LX, 5 speed with the realtime. It get 25-26 mpg and she loves it.
