Default New Badges

First off, a BIG thanks to Chris for dontaing the perfectly matched, smoked badges for my Silverstone ride. Another special thanks to Dave for helping me put them on the car last night.

Dave made quick work of removing the front and rear badges (10 minutes). Putting the front and rear badges wasn't bad either (except for my rookie misaligned move on the rear that took 5 minutes to correct).

Then we proceeded to remove the side badges in no time. No muss, no fuss, right?

Well, after the side badges were off, the adhesive tape that was left was a BEEOTCH! to remove.

We each took turns with the adhesive remover, heat gun (hair dryer), and rags, picking at it with thumb nails till it budged. Each side took about 30-45 minutes to remove all the adhesive.

I sat there and looked at the debadged, clean sides of the car for a few minutes before I decided to put the smoked S2000 badges on.

I'll post pics later, but the job was a success thanks to our very own DAVID1!

Glad to hear it all came together without too much of a headache. I know when I tried getting all of that adhesive off my fingers pretty much ended up being bloody stumps.

Can't wait to see the final product! I bet it looks sweeeeet!!

It looks like it came from the factory that way, only better matched with the dark theme of the car.
