New Amp and Sub----Alive and thumping!
Jim rolled in on Friday to race some gogarts and to install my new sound system part 2. Jim did the head unit (Alpine) and component door speakers (Infinity) last year.
This year, we added an Alphasonic Amp and 10 inch Sub Woofer. I have a Soundstream Amp coming on Monday to drive the Sub. You'll see extra wires hanging from the rear of the car. We had your typical "Ray" issues as most of you know happen whenever we do anything with my car. For example: I did not order 2 sets of RCA wires. ( Trip to Best buy and twice the costs )
Had a high pitch scream coming from the car when we came back from SPEEDS. (Cut in the speaker wire was touching metal and sending back feedback).
We fixed all of those things and came up with a great sounding set up. I can't wait to hear the Sub tomorrow. Jim is da man with this stuff. I think he is part Cyborg. We had a great tim at Speeds and at the Funny Bone. Here are some pics. Let me know if you have questions about the set up. I did not do a lot , but I watched very carefully.
Like an outlaw on the run, the man just slips away into the snow fall.
Like Pale Rider.
THANKS JIM

He was not canabalizing his car shithead. He had a wire that was sliced a bit and it was making contact with metal. Oh yeah, Jim came right back after he left the house. The roads were bad so we waited for Jen to get back and he just went back to Pittsburgh in our Murano. Anybody interested in a set of Volks? Hahahahaah. Just kidding Jim.

When I left ;it appeared he and Joe were pulling some wire off his car to help you out. I didn't stay for the final fix; hence the reason I thought he was a hellava nice guy.
However since you were upstairs giving your dog a "hand" job you wouldn't have known of the effort being put down in your garage.......
nutlather !!
btw: thanks for the beer
