Default Need help getting new wheels/tires installed

I bought new rims and tires over the winter to install on my S2000. I've been to two chain tire shops and they won't install as they are not OEM size, even though I purchased in safe offset size for an S2000. I'm planning to talk to Turk at Jay Honda in my neighborhood to see if the guys there will handle this. In case that option isn't available, are there other installers around the East side of Cleveland? Really can't drive elsewhere right now because I have a packed schedule the next few weeks.

I bought Rota D2s in 18 X 8 +48 fronts and 18 X 9 +50 rears, a size known to fit the S2000 and used by many others on the forum.

This directly impacts my ability to participate in Wake the Dragon--I'm not going to drive down if I have to do it on my almost seven-year-old, wearing thin rear S02s (e.g. not safe for a long trip).

Not sure why no one has posted, but if you can't get it done up there, bring it to my shop in Dayton. I'll do it.

Turk should take care of you - they finally bought the equipment to handle the rims last year - they did my last new set of tires with no problems.

Check with Motomotion.... they will be putting my PS2s on my Volks... I don't want to have some fly-by-night-operation touching my wheels.

If not, then check with Turk..

either one, toss the wheels and tires in the RL and drive over there.

Thanks for the help, guys, I got an appointment over at Jay Honda. I'm thankful they are only a couple of miles from me, and have the appropriate equipment, my schedule is so packed I have to stay close to home for now.

Working 12-14 hour days this week and next....
