N.E. Ohio Y-town meet, July 12

Man, we are right on the edge of Armageddon. When I go to the edge of my driveway and look north, I see a wall of gray. When I look up or south, blue with white puffies. Let's hope the slop stays over the lake. I've got my boot on so being hit with a "surprise" storm would NOT be appreciated.

Looks like weather cooperated for you all! Hope everything went well, and you had a good time! As for me, while you were all getting together, talking S2000's, eating, driving, I installed a ceiling fan in my daughter's room. Luckily, it required a drive out to Home Depot, so you can guess how I got there!
(sigh) Sorry I missed it.

Jonas, your name came up more than once today. You were missed.
I'd like to thank all those who attended today, especially the C-bus guys who got wet. Sorry guys. It was actually a perfect day for a nice QUIET ride in the park! Our list is growing. lots of new faces today. Let's keep the ball rolling and enjoy our cars!
Once again it was my pleasure to enjoy the company of the OLD timers (Carmen-Brad-David1-Strangedaze-the NSXguy oops Hardtopguy). ESKARGO, DIDN'T SEE YOU WIPE OFF THE CAR AT ALL? Then there was cyoung from Tn., just dropped in to enjoy the ride, thanks Chris!
Everyone have a safe trip home.
Thanks
Sam
Lets see a picture or two!

Just got back at 2:00am (Joe and I stop for coffee). Great meet & drive. I didn't even have to fly
Everyone should take a look at their rear differential mounts. When I got the car in the garage, I smelled something burning. My rear diff mount is leaking oil onto the exhaust and the floor. (the exhaust got very very hot from you know what ) If yours is leaking, you will see it plain as day. Also, I broke the 4000 mile mark an the way home.

The meet was awesome yesterday. About 18 cars. We met at the Honda Store in Youngstown Ohio. Sam greeted everyone with an embroidered t-shirt that matched the color of their car and had their s2ki "name" embroidered on it. We then had food (including official Honda water!) and ate in the showroom. The dealership gave away prizes to everyone. I got an oil filter, Honda mug, and Honda Store T-Shirt. We proceeded to organize by color (Spa had the most at 4 cars - all colors represented except Red). Sam took us through a beautiful park that ran along a lake. The best part was, he has "friends" in the police department and got some roads closed off for us. We basically had a police escort through the park. There is a suspension bridge that we parked side-by-side on and took awesome pics which I will post as soon as I upload them. The police blocked off the road so we didn't have to worry about traffic while on the bridge. We parked at a flower garden for a rest and more photos. Lastly, we went to a big car show with mostly older muscle cars. I can tell you we stole the show when we all pulled in. Collectively, everyone at the show turned around and stared at us. . It was easily one of our best meets ever.
Thanks Sam. Stellar, and I mean stellar job organizing this. . It was also great to meet all the new folks.
