In the truest sense of the word you are incorrect sir ;any deviation from the way the car was delivered from the factory is a modification. I've seen cars bounced in post race tech in SCCA showroom stock classes because the owners used bonded brake pads instead of riveted brake pads as called out by the factory manual.

no sir, you are incorrect in your wording.

your S2000 was delivered from the factory with spring spacers....is it driven with said spacers intact at an SCCA sanctioned event?

no sir, it is not.

what's a soapbox?? our soap comes packaged in cellophane....

correct....but they would not pass tech at an SCCA sanctioned event, as our distinguished collegue eluded to.
