Wouldn't have to worry about top tears if you had a CR.

OK, my turn. I'm about ready to smash my pc into a million little pieces. My previous computer was a thinkpad so I went this same route. Only a little company named lenova bought the thinkpad line from IBM a few years ago. What a complete pos, nothing but headaches. Gettting the hampsters up to speed in the AM is getting longer and longer, with ill-timed total auto shutdown and restarts now being the norm. On average, its about 20 minutes from the time I power up until the time I can actually do anything. I'm about ready to head over to the dark side. Mainstream, sure. Pop culture, maybe. But at least they seem to work.

MCAFEE

I hate it ;ever since I reinstalled this pos security into the computer it has been a PITA

Like Alec's issue it takes 15-20min just to start up ,it uses up to 45% of the CPU during downloads and causes the pages to freeze while it downloads and everyone needs a reboot

The IT guys a work say use Norton; I guess that's what I need to do

effing mcafee

I have Norton. The 2010 version takes less time to boot-up, but its still slow as shit.

Weather Forecasters

The only flippin job on the planet where you can be wrong and still keep it

If you tell me no rain for three days and it rains the 1st afternoon then maybe you should be telling fortunes or guessing weight or ages at the county fair

Don't get me wrong; I like getting out of work for 5 minutes in the middle of the afternoon . What I don't like is getting wet putting the top up in the S2000 because some jackwagon who couldn't guess what color of socks to wear that morning tells me it's going to be beautiful for the next 3 days

Consider the baseball player. Besides the weather man what job can you do where all you have to do is do your job (hitting the ball) 30% of the time and you are considered one of the best in the league and paid millions of dollars.

On my job as with most, if you were wrong 70% of the time you would be fired in the first week and have to collect a few hundred dollars a month in unemployment!!
