timmy..i'll post a pic as soon as i get my camera back
hats off to jay honda's parts dept they were able to help me out with the exhaust system and i really appreciate it. definitely would endorse their parts department.... having said that..

the right muffler problem has been solved, but still have that low idle rattle at acceleration/deceleration coming from the left canister..around 2k ~ 3k. can't imagine the baffling to be bad when the car had 30 miles on it.. happpens once the car is warmed up....

the roof rattle is another issue that i think i'm going to find a different dealer to have look at. after 30 miles of "testing" my car, i would have thought they would have heard it coming from the latches and identified the problem. instead, i drove to canada this weekend and got to hear it for 5.5 hours up, and 5.5 hours back. it's the end of the summer so i'll worry about it in the spring... maybe have marysville honda or someone look at it when the spring mod day happens. (i assume it's going to happen? )

I have a brand new right can in my basement right now. It was on the car for 10 minutes. Guess what? It rattled like an SOB. Comptech sent me another half and it was OK. Also the welds on the cans look like a 10 year old did it. I can see the pipes starting to pull out from the back of the cans now after 3k miles so I am going to have the guys at Midwest weld it up.

Your car has the updated strikers, Either a bad latch or not adjusted correctly which in either case is warranty.
Ironic that you posted this, and you fixed this for me..

Thanks Joe.. rattles gone

calipers = grinding down smooth first, then painting them black
box = if you still needed one to ship an exhaust in, I have a couple boxes large enough you can have (remember our conversation a few weeks back?)
