Got it on this evening. Not to difficult, but takes 2 (Strangedaze helped) people to do. Takes about an hour and the J's style does clear the Comptech intake, or it seems to since I can close the hood. All adjustment points needed to be adjusted since the bolt holes on the new hood did not line up since the CF hood is slightly narrower than stock. This is probably done to account for expansion when it gets hot since the CF probably does not have the same expansion rate as the fenders etc. Adjusting the latch is a pain. I will need to remove it and slot it (it seems this needs to be done by many others to) to give me some more adjustment and then the hood will fit perfect.

As for weight, I have not seen anyone post the weights of the stock hood compared to the CF. The Aluminum hood is lighter by half a pound with the insulation pad on

Stock hood--18.5 pounds
J's style CF---19.0 pounds

Ubetit, your ankle would be killing you! Lots of crouching!

Picture comming soon.

The hood looks great! The light in these pics doesn't quite do it justice. It seems to accentuate the edges. In person, the fit is actually very good. Once Dave gets the latch adjusted, it should be awesome!

I've always been a fan of the bruised banana look.

I've only seen it out of the box but the weave is great, the edges are rolled nicely, and the thickness is uniform. Not bad for a knockoff. Looks good David1.

My wife and kids just saw it for the first time a few moments ago. They don't like it, think its ugly! I need to teach them what good taste is
