I paid $300 for my MY00 Metro 3 cylinder about a year ago from some kid.
It's not much to look at, but it saves me a ton of money and I've never had a problem with it (it's at 145k miles now). And I can actually beat on it without breaking any laws. What a great buy it was.

U are living upto your screen name sir! Now, drop that egg and put full cage and other track goodies. Let's see it tearing the thunder valley in Mid Ohio.

Had I appropriate funds I would drop a K20A in it with a roots style blower. The thing doesn't weigh much more than 1400lbs with the OEM engine in it being stripped out.

I was actually considering entering it into the 24 hours of Lemons last year.

On a straight/flat highway with CC set at 64mph (55speed limit) I have gotten 33.6 out of mine. I know...sounds crazy, but I checked it a few times.

Average is around 26/27.

29.2 on the TL - which is just about the best i've ever seen. I've dropped my speed by about 2-3mph going to work on this tank.

Wifes X3 19.9 average over 3 tanks at an average speed of 29.9mph
My 335 with the new exhaust and tune is averaging 21.8 with an average speed of 35mph driving it like I stole it.
The chrysler is at 21mpg average as it has been for years.
