Default MPG

Now that the winter blend gas is gone the CRV is getting me 26.4 MPG avg. over the last three tanks of gas. Not bad for a little SUV.

I've been getting 35-37 in the Fit without trying (i.e., driving hard).

You'd be surprised... well maybe not that surprised.

It's fun in the sense that you can wind through the gears and get much closer to its limits on public roads than you can with most cars today. I've lately found myself bored with the S because the opposite is true - it has so much potential that I can't tap on a daily basis without seriously breaking the law...

I've been going back and forth between a WRX and a STI for a new daily driver with child seat capabilities, but now I'm also pondering a base civic or SI sedan for the reasons mentioned above (and not to mention gas prices)...

The concord averages 21mpg
The X3 being AWD, 4k pounds and 270 horses,6 spd auto averages 19.5
The 335 at 3.5k pounds, 350 horses, 6spd manual driven hard will average +/- 20mpg.

Rich, I've noticed increases too on the order of 2-3 mpg per fillup.

Right now, on avg...

Cayman S gets 20 mpg +/-
Accord V6 gets 22 mpg
Avant 2.0T gets 26 mpg

To date, this is highest mpg's we have ever had in our garage. I'm sure this will change over the coming years (going up).

My '06 Z71 Suburban gets 30 miles every other gallon

On a serious note though.....it truly does get better gas mileage than my wifes '06 TrailBlazer......which is going bye bye. Why are those things so terrible on fuel?
